Caprini, Waterloo
Please note I'm building a new website at www.walsom.art. This site will continue for a while but won't be updated.
This is a plein air oil painting, completed over two visits, of a road junction near to Waterloo Station in London, and featuring the Caprini restaurant, with the green awning. On the second day the wind was so strong that I had to tie my easel to a lamp post, as the large canvas tried to take off across the road. Exhibited at the New English Art Club exhibition at the Mall Galleries, London, 2020
