All our Fine Art prints are hand printed to the finest possible standards.
"Limited Edition" means that only a fixed number of prints will be made of the image, each one signed and numbered by the artist. A certificate of authenticity will also be provided with each print sold. Edition sizes are kept small to make the prints more exclusive and collectable. The size of each edition is shown alongside the image on the website.
"Open Edition" means that the number of prints which may be made is not limited in number. This is usually because the image has been published, for instance as a greetings card. The quality of each print is, however, identical to the Limited Edition prints.
All the above are "giclee" prints, a process in which sophisticated printing machines spray microscopic dots of ink onto the paper surface at such high resolution and clarity that it can be very difficult for even an expert to detect the difference between the original and the print. The pigmented inks used are also extremely long lasting and light fast.
Our prints are produced on Hahnemuehle 350g Museum Etching and 310g William Turner paper, using Epson Ultrachrome K3 inks.
